Celebrating life and arts of Ragini Goorha
Late MrsRaginiGoorha, took an initiative many years ago to create StyleMantra group on Facebook. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1652984644914157).
StyleMantra got support from thousands of admirers of Fine arts, painting, cookery and poetry. In a short time the page became one of the most active, liked and admired pages. Her legacy and teachings are being pursued by many of her ardent fans and friends across the globe.
RangRagini Painting Competition for Children- Season- 1 and Season 2 were resounding success in 2020, 2021 respectively with participation from all over the World. A keenly fought competition was judged by an eminent jury of well-known painters, writers and art connoisseurs. Children were given Awards, Certificates and Gift Vouchers, as prizes in a grand ceremony streamed live on many platforms and Social media.
As a tribute and to continue to celebrate Ragini's passion for arts, StyleMantra Team is honored to announce Season 3 of – RangRagini Internation Painting Compeition.
This competition encourages young budding talents and make them aware of rich Indian heritage of arts and paintings. This competition is open to children of various age groups in India/other countries.
Season-3 Guidelines for participants
Categories and Themes:
Category One; Special Category ( age 6 to 17 years) - Only for differently abled children
Any theme of your choice using any medium
Category Two; (Age 6 to 9 years )
Your Home, Flowers, Plants, Tree/ Doll house, Sea life, Your favourite game, Favourite fruit and Favourite vegetable,
Category Three; (Age 10 to 14 years )
Autumn Scene, Memory drawing of bus stand/ railway station/ airport, Playground Scene, Favourite cartoon character,
Scenery, Underwater life, Dancing peacock, Still life....simple examples, village scene and Portraits.
Category Four; ( Age 15 to 17 years)
Global warming, Environment Protection, Go Green, Save Water, Nature,Still life-utensils, pots,
bottles with 3D effect, Traditional Indian art forms( ie. Warli,.Madhubani, Kalamkari, Miniature etc )
Medium:
Please use any medium you like and which gives the best expression of your creativity. Suggested mediums are:
Acrylic, Watercolours, Pen and Ink, Charcoal oil, Pastels, Colour pencils and Crayons.
